Definition of "Fund value"

In respect of a unit linked plan this is the value of a fund based on the current bid value of the units within the fund. If it is a with profits plan it is the vale of the plan plus an reversionary and terminal bonuses, however due tot he fact that some of these bonuses are only redeemable at maturity the value is not necessarily what you would get if you cashed the plan in.
