Definition of "Health Care Reimbursement Account"

An employee benefit that is allowed under tax law where an account is established that allows you to use pre-tax money to pay for unreimbursed eligible health care expenses. These expenses may include deductibles, copayments and other medical, dental, vision and hearing expenses that aren't covered by a health plan.
